CHAD'S WHY
A spirit of service and a commitment to giving back have continuously marked the lives of Chad and Jenni Greenway. These hallmarks have positioned Chad as one of the most respected philanthropists the NFL has seen in recent years.
Upon entering the league in 2006, Chad realized his platform as an NFL superstar presented him with an opportunity to create a lasting difference in the lives of others. With more than a dozen hospitals in the Twin Cities area, a mission focused around children with pediatric illnesses and disabilities proved to be the most impactful form of charitable outreach.
Since establishing the Lead the Way Foundation in 2008, Chad has been presented with numerous league-based awards for his charitable work, including representing the Minnesota Vikings as their team nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award of four separate occasions and winning the NFLPA’s Byron “Whizzer” White Award in 2015. These accolades affirm Chad and Jenni’s long-term philanthropic legacy in Minnesota and beyond.
